LokSmith is owned and operated by VonkWorks (“we”, “us”). These terms cover your use of the LokSmith app, its subscriptions and this website. By creating an account or using LokSmith you agree to them.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Each plan can be used on a limited number of computers; you can remove a computer from your account to make room for another.

Plans and billing

• The free plan includes a monthly number of horn exports, which may change.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from the Account panel in LokSmith. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Features marked "soon" are planned and not yet included.

Your recordings

You're responsible for having the right to use the recordings you bring into LokSmith. The sounds you make are yours.

Your sound projects

LokSmith backs up your .esux project before writing to it, but you should keep your own copies of anything important. LokSmith works alongside ESU's LokProgrammer and is not made, endorsed or supported by ESU.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to bypass plan limits, licensing or device checks, interfere with our servers, or resell access to LokSmith.

No warranty

LokSmith is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for damage to files, decoders or models, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
